EPCALM conducts vigil service for Karen

DSC_0081EPCALM conducted a vigil service for Karen Pajarillaga last Saturday, March 12.

Karen  joined our Maker last Friday, March 11, 2011, after battling Leukemia for more than a year.  She was 33 years old.

During the vigil service, the EPCALM Choir led the singing of songs of worship throughout the service.  Karen’s sister, Armi Aningat and her husband recounted memories of Karen up to the last moments of her life.  Aling Evelyn, Karen’s Mother, gave the family’s response, in behalf of the Pajarillaga Family.

Pastor Norma Manuel gave the meditation during the service and Dr. Erlyn Demerre made the closing prayer.  Karen’s body lies at the Funeraria Paz, Manila Memorial Park, Sucat, Paranaque.

Her interment will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2011.

Please pray for the eternal repose of Karen’s soul, and pray for strength and steadfastness for the family she leaves behind.
